PRESENTATION
The Déhu Père et Fils House stems from a family of Wine growers which has existed for 7 generations.
It has confirmed the quality of its Champagnes since its creation, because it sticks to modernity.
Rigourous and full of go, the House always turns to the future.
On the doorstep of the Champagne region, our vineyard spreads over the hills of the Marne valley, a soil of predilection for Champagnes with a dominant Pinot-Meunier.
220 years of history

sales account for 30% of our production and the House is managed by Benoît Déhu (born in 1975), who represents the 8th generation.
He is developing brand awareness and up-market sales network (Wine merchants, delicatessens, gourmet restaurants).
From vine to wine
Near Champagne, our vineyard extends over the hillsides of the Marne Valley, offering the soil of preference of Champagne, with dominant Pinot Meunier.
Edged with vineyards, and crowned with forests, the Marne valley is a country of serene humanity, which gave birth to the fables of La Fontaine, and paintings by Léon Lhermitte and Corrot.
We are quite devoted to an integrated farming management of our vineyard, a limited manuring – mainly organic, a cut prioritizing quality instead of quantity, a protection aimed at the sanity of grapes, along with an optimum ripeness.
We have joined the forum FARRE - Agriculture Raisonnée Respectueuse de l'Environnement (Environment-friendly Integrated Farming). This allows us to keep on working the vine with respect of the natural environment.
The Déhu vineyard benefits from a planting of Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir (Black Pinot).
Each grape is hand-picked and carefully carried to our wine-press in 50-kilogram cases. The grape juice obtained meets the strict standards of Champagne Quality Chart.
- After sludge removal when cold, the alcoholic fermentation unfolds in stainless cats under temperature control.
- After bottling, the foam is taken to ageing strats in our cellars.
- Our vintages benefit from 3 years’ ageing at least.
This ageing is longer than imposed under the Champagne denomination (15 months), and it allows a full development of aromas.
Our Champagne rests for at least 4 months in our cellars before shipping, in order to allow the shipping liqueur to reach harmony with the Champagne.
Champagnes Déhu Père et Fils have now reached international fame and awareness.
Refined and elegant, they seduce both connoisseurs and lovers of great wines.
